Everyday Ways to Be an ADHD Advocate

Help others understand ADHD.

  • Protest. Respond to misconceptions with an informed comment, or direct the individual to a support organization, such as ADDA or CHADD.
  • Educate. A few facts at your fingertips is all you need to start educating yourself and others.
  • Contact. Speak from your heart when telling people your story. It will put a powerful face on the disorder.
